Cheryl St. John: Plein Air Landscape and Floral Artist

Cheryl St. John is a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society and the Plein Air Artists of Colorado. St. John is also a member of the American Academy of Women Artists. Cheryl has won numerous awards and is included among private and corporate collections. Her medium of choice is watercolor because she loves the luminosity and transparency of watercolor paint on paper. Collectors enjoy both her plein air watercolors and oils as she brings brilliant color and diversity to each painting.

Cheryl says of painting en plein air, “… it is always a challenge, never-ever routine. The light and weather conditions can change in an instant creating a sense of urgency that translates into spontaneity.”
